These rules apply to everything we publish.
Independence
- Companies cannot pay for a place in our guides or for a better score.
- Affiliate commissions don’t influence our picks. We include products without an affiliate program when they are the better choice.
- We don’t accept products in exchange for coverage. If we ever receive a product for free, we say so in the article.
Honesty about our process
- We only say we tested something when we actually did.
- We name the downsides of every product we recommend and say who should skip it.
- Every guide lists its sources.
Transparency about AI
We use AI tools for research and drafting. Every article is checked and edited by a human editor before publication. We don’t publish AI-generated text without review.
Corrections
We fix errors as soon as we learn about them and update the date at the top of the article. Write to [email protected].
