Tools that record, transcribe and summarize meetings – online and in person.
Meetings · Buying Guides
Otter.ai is the best AI note taker for in-person meetings for most people: it runs on the phone you already carry, shows a live transcript and has a usable free plan. If you record all day, a dedicated Plaud recorder is the upgrade.
Meetings · Buying Guides
Fireflies.ai is the best AI meeting assistant for most people and teams: it works across Zoom, Teams and Google Meet, transcribes in 100+ languages and doesn't train on your meetings by default. Fathom is the best free option.
Meetings · Comparisons
Otter.ai is the better pick for most individuals and in-person meetings, with cheaper annual pricing and unlimited storage on Pro. Fireflies.ai is the better pick for teams that live in a CRM or care most about stated AI-training policies.
Meetings · How-tos
The AI already built into Zoom, Teams and Google Meet can write your meeting notes if your plan includes it; for in-person meetings, a phone app such as Otter.ai or Google Meet's in-person notes does the job.
